Alessi — 370/19 | Polished 18/10 stainless steel citrus holder

There is a disarming simplicity in the way a well-designed object can transform everyday life into a ritual. Alessi's 370/19 citrus fruit bowl is exactly that: a form that welcomes, gathers, and arranges fruit on the table with the grace of a Dutch still life. Made of polished 18/10 stainless steel, its body reflects light discreetly, bringing a sober, clean glow to the home. With its generous 19-centimetre diameter and 20-centimetre height, it is a substantial object that never feels intrusive.

The 370/19 was created by the Alessi Technical Office - the in-house workshop at the Crusinallo manufacturing facility that, from the post-war period to the present day, has interpreted the needs of the Italian table with formal rigour and artisanal sensitivity. Introduced in May 2010, this citrus fruit bowl belongs to the most authentic tradition of the House: that of pieces that do not seek an ephemeral visual impact, but rather quiet durability and stylistic consistency over time.

We chose it for Stilmobili because it represents what we believe: quality design does not necessarily have to sign a manifesto. The 370/19 is for those who furnish their kitchen or dining room with care, for those who prefer the shine of steel to the patina of time, and for those who find in the simple gesture of placing an orange in a basket a small way of caring for the spaces they inhabit.
