Alessi — 826/24 | Round wire basket in stainless steel

There is an almost mathematical purity in Alessi's 826/24 round wire basket. The 18/10 stainless steel structure traces an airy geometry in space, where solid and empty alternate in a precise rhythm. The metal wire - polished, taut, essential - transforms an everyday object into a small domestic sculpture capable of conversing with any setting, from the most contemporary kitchen to a carefully laid table. The design bears the signature of the Alessi Technical Office, the in-house division at the Crusinallo factory that has safeguarded and translated the company's artisanal vocation into industrial form for decades. Not a cover designer, but a collective, quiet expertise that knows when it is right to remove rather than add. The result is a timeless object, belonging to the most authentic tradition of Italian metal production. We chose it for Stilmobili because it perfectly represents that category of objects that inhabit the home without imposing themselves - and that, precisely for this reason, reveal the taste of those who chose them. It is ideal for anyone seeking functionality without giving up formal elegance: perfect as a fruit bowl, an informal centerpiece, or a surface for placing items in an entryway. It pairs naturally with other pieces from the Alessi collection and fits equally well in minimalist settings and more classically styled interiors. Project notes: Diameter 24.5 cm, height 8.5 cm. 18/10 stainless steel. Weight 700 g. Alessi production, permanent collection with spring/summer availability.
