Alessi — 9094/3 | Aldo Rossi infusion coffee maker, 3 cups

There is something architectural about the way the 9094/3 occupies space on the kitchen counter. Its polished 18/10 stainless steel cylindrical form engages in dialogue with the transparent borosilicate glass in a balance between structural rigor and visual lightness. Watching the coffee transform during infusion becomes a small daily ritual, almost a meditation on slowness — a quiet antidote to the frenzy of the morning. Aldo Rossi, one of the most influential Italian architects and theorists of the 20th century, created one of the most celebrated collaborations in the history of home design for Alessi. With his press-filter coffee maker, Rossi brought the same formal grammar that guided his buildings into everyday life: the purity of the cylinder, the precision of primary volumes, the tension between memory and modernity. The design belongs to that extraordinary period when Alessi opened its factories to great architects, transforming everyday objects into manifestos of poetic vision. At Stilmobili, we chose this coffee maker because it perfectly represents the point at which design ceases to be decoration and becomes thought. It is the ideal object for those who live consciously, who recognize the morning coffee ritual as a moment not to be wasted, and who want every corner of their home — even the most everyday one — to tell a story of something authentic.
