Alessi — Harmonic | Abi Alice Design Basket

Alessi Harmonic - The Geometry That Becomes an Object

There is something hypnotic about the way the steel sheet bends, cuts, and curves until it finds a shape that seems as if it has always existed. Harmonic stems from this tension between mathematical rigor and sculptural softness: a basket that catches your eye before it is even used, and that changes appearance depending on the light passing through it.

Why we chose it for you

Abi Alice, a young Australian designer, has translated her passion for mathematics and geometry into a design that Alessi - an Italian laboratory for research in the applied arts since 1921 - recognized as authentic. The result is an object that belongs as much to design culture as it does to the everyday table: one of those choices that stand the test of time and trends.
