Alessi — Ahhh MW64 2 F | Mahogany wood diffuser leaves

There is something profoundly organic in the way the Ahhh diffuser's mahogany leaves arrange themselves in space: thin sheets of precious wood that seem to have just fallen from an imaginary branch, yet are perfectly designed to hold and release fragrance into the air. The material is warm, tactile, almost alive - mahogany carries a chromatic density ranging from amber red to deep brown, changing with the light throughout the day. The design is by Marcel Wanders, one of the most visionary and recognizable Dutch designers on the contemporary scene, known for his ability to blend fairy-tale charm and rigor, craftsmanship and sophisticated irony. With Ahhh, Wanders transforms a functional accessory - the room diffuser - into a small poetic object, capable of evoking nature through its form even before its fragrance. The name itself, Ahhh, is a sigh: the moment when one stops, breathes, and truly inhabits the space. At Stilmobili, we chose this piece because it perfectly represents what we look for when we talk about home design: objects that do not merely decorate, but transform the atmosphere of a space. The MW64 2 F leaves are designed for those who take care over every detail of their surroundings, for those who understand that fragrance is an integral part of domestic architecture, just like light or the color of the walls.
