Alessi — Ahhh MW64 MW64 2S W | Porcelain leaf diffuser by Wanders

There is something almost vegetal about the way Ahhh inhabits a space. The white porcelain body opens upward into a fan of slender mahogany wood leaves, which slowly absorb the fragrance and release it into the air with the same discretion as a plant breathes. Not an accessory, but a silent presence: an object that scents without announcing itself, that decorates without imposing itself. It was designed by Marcel Wanders, one of the most visionary Dutch designers of his generation, known for an aesthetic that intertwines craftsmanship and the surreal, formal rigor and a certain poetics of restrained excess. With Ahhh, Wanders brings his ability to transform an everyday object into a small domestic sculpture to the Alessi collection. The choice of mahogany for the leaves is not accidental: the porous wood becomes a natural vehicle for diffusion, while the chromatic contrast with the porcelain creates a material elegance rarely found in this product category. We chose Ahhh because it answers a precise question: how to make fragrance part of the décor, not an addition. It is designed for those who care about every detail of their home environment - those who choose a vase with the same care with which they choose a sofa, and know that a diffuser can, in every respect, be a design object. Perfect on an entrance console, on a distinctive bathroom countertop, or as a compositional element on a shelf. Project notes: white porcelain, mahogany wood leaves; capacity 15 cl; diameter 11.5 cm; height 21.5 cm. Design by Marcel Wanders for Alessi, spring/summer collection.
