Alessi "The Hug Plate" - The plate that embraces Christmas

There is a moment during the holidays when the panettone arrives at the table and everything comes to a standstill. Alessi's The Hug Plate is designed for that moment: a stoneware plate that combines function and storytelling, transforming the ritual of the Christmas dessert into a gesture of care for those we love.

Why we chose it for you

Alessi was founded in 1921 on Lake Orta as an artisan workshop and has evolved over time into one of the world's most renowned applied design laboratories. The Hug Plate was designed by Massimo Giacon and embodies Alessi's distinctive ability to make every everyday object something more: a presence, an emotion, a story to tell. The ceramic decoration is festive without being excessive, equally suited to a fully set table or the shelf of a sideboard.
