Alessi — Amici BG02/2 | 18/10 stainless steel table fork

There is something disarming about the simplicity of the Amici fork: holding it means immediately understanding that nothing has been left to chance. The 18/10 stainless steel offers a restrained, almost subdued sheen, while the profile unfolds with a fluidity that suggests movement even at rest. Nineteen centimeters of essential geometry, designed to inhabit the table without overpowering it - a silent yet unmistakable presence. Amici was created by BIG-GAME, the design collective founded by Grégoire Jeanmonod, Augustin Scott de Martinville and Elric Petit. The trio, formed between the leading schools of Lausanne and London, is known for an approach we might call "subtractive maximalism": every line is the result of what was deliberately left out. With Alessi, BIG-GAME found a partner capable of transforming this philosophy into metal, into a daily gesture, into a domestic ritual. The Amici collection is part of the broader story of Italian tableware design - one in which the spoon and fork are never mere accessories, but silent participants in every moment of conviviality. At Stilmobili, we chose Amici because it embodies exactly what we look for: objects that withstand the wear of time and changing tastes, equally at home at a formal dinner and a Sunday family lunch. It is the ideal service for those who want to create a distinctive table setting, far from clichés, capable of saying something about the person who sets it. Project notes: Table fork, 18/10 stainless steel. Length 19.2 cm, compact profile (2 × 1.5 cm). Weight 71 g. Part of the Amici collection, spring/summer lineup.
