Alessi — Marzio | Porcelain Figurine

Alessi Marzio — A Small Presence That Says a Lot

There is something disarming about the lightness with which Marzio occupies space: a hand-decorated green porcelain figurine that manages to be both ironic and refined. Placed on a shelf, windowsill, or beside a morning cup, it brings with it the surreal, poetic streak that has always distinguished the world of Alessi.

Why we chose it for you

Marzio was created through a collaboration between Alessi and the creative duo LPWK with Massimo Giacon, a designer known for his visual language, which draws on comics, illustration, and pop culture with knowing irony. Alessi — founded in 1921 on Lake Orta and a research workshop in the applied arts for a century — gives this piece the same artisanal care reserved for its most celebrated objects: porcelain and hand decoration, in an object that is worth far more than its size.
