Alessi — Anna Spoon AM19CU | Mendini polished steel teaspoon

There is something immediate and disarming about the Anna Spoon: its slender shape, the metal that naturally catches the light, and its compact thirteen-centimeter size, which makes it almost an object to hold in your hand as you would a small sculpture. Made of polished stainless steel, this teaspoon belongs to that family of Alessi pieces capable of transforming an everyday gesture - stirring, tasting, serving - into a moment of visual pleasure. Anna Spoon was created by Alessandro Mendini, a central figure in Italian radical and postmodern design, in collaboration with Annalisa Margarini. Mendini, one of the founders of Studio Alchimia and editor of magazines such as Casabella and Domus, built a long and prolific partnership with Alessi: the celebrated Anna G. corkscrew, an absolute icon of domestic design, is the best-known example. The AM19CU teaspoon conveys the same anthropomorphic and affectionate spirit that runs through all his work - the conviction that everyday objects can have a soul, almost a personality. At Stilmobili, we chose it because it represents what we love most about the Alessi universe: the ability to bring design quality and formal poetry even to the smallest and seemingly secondary pieces. It is the perfect gift for anyone who collects design without taking it too seriously, an elegant addition to a spring or summer table, and a piece that draws attention precisely because it does not try to. Project notes: polished stainless steel, length 13 cm, weight 27 g. Part of the Alessi collection, spring/summer assortment. Designed by Alessandro Mendini with Annalisa Margarini.
