Arc is a wristwatch that brings to the wrist the tension inherent in digital architecture: the dial opens like a cross-section of a volume in motion, where 18/10 stainless steel and aluminum meet in a dialogue of surfaces that captures light with almost sculptural precision. The case, with a compact diameter of just over four centimeters, balances the solidity of the metal with a visual lightness that makes it wearable without weight - both literally and aesthetically. It was designed by Hani Rashid, co-founder of the New York studio Asymptote Architecture and a leading figure in the fields of parametric design and virtual architecture. Rashid brought to Alessi the same vision with which he designs physical and digital spaces: forms that seem extracted from a computational flow, curved tensions that suggest speed even when still. In this sense, Arc is a pocket-sized manifesto of his poetics - an object that does not decorate time, but interprets it. We chose it for Stilmobili because it represents exactly the point where product design meets architectural thinking. It is the right watch for those who collect objects with an intellectual biography, for those who recognize a cultural gesture in everyday artifacts. It belongs to a production line that is now out of the catalog - an end-of-line piece - and for this very reason takes on the character of a definitive, non-repeatable acquisition.
