Alessi — Arch ESA06 ESA06 6 | Blown glass Christmas bauble

There is something ancient and precious about mouth-blown glass: its imperfect transparency, its light weight between the fingers, and the way light refracts differently each time. Arch is a Christmas tree decoration that carries all the grace of this artisanal tradition, reinterpreted with the contemporary sensibility that distinguishes the best of Italian design. With a diameter of eight centimeters, it is an object that makes itself noticed without overwhelming, entirely hand-decorated with the care that transforms each piece into a unique work. The project was born from the imagination of Elena Salmistraro, a Milanese designer and artist who is one of the most original voices of her generation. Her creative universe is made up of archetypal forms, references to nature and myth, bold colors, and a rare ability to inhabit the space between ornamentation and narrative. Arch - its name evokes the arch, the curve, the gesture - enters the Alessi Palinsesto fall/winter collection as a small manifesto of this perspective: precise, poetic, never banal. At Stilmobili, we chose Arch because we believe Christmas decorations deserve the same attention given to a permanent design object. It is ideal for those who want to create a Christmas tree with personality and aesthetic coherence, for those who give gifts with intention, and for those who know that even an ornament can become a lasting memory and enduring beauty. Project notes: mouth-blown glass, hand-decorated. Diameter 8 cm, height 8.5 cm. Weight 130 g. Code ESA06. Alessi Palinsesto fall/winter collection. Designed by Elena Salmistraro.
