Alessi — Arran 90068 | Rectangular tray in 18/10 stainless steel

There is a geometry of the essential that never grows old. Alessi's Arran tray belongs to that rare family of objects in which form is never an exercise in style, but the most honest response to a function. Rectangular, horizontal, stretched out in its elongated proportion - 48 by 25 centimeters - it is made of 18/10 stainless steel with a polished finish that captures the ambient light and reflects it with the quiet, precise quality that only metal can offer. In the hand, it weighs just enough to convey solidity without burdening the gesture. Behind this tray is the signature of Enzo Mari, one of the undisputed masters of 20th-century Italian design, an uncompromising and rigorous figure who believed that design was above all an ethical act. Mari spent decades questioning the relationship between object and person, between industrial production and everyday meaning. Arran brings that same intellectual tension into the most discreet form possible: nothing is decorative, everything is necessary. The result is a piece that does not proclaim itself, but makes itself noticed through restraint. At Stilmobili, we chose Arran because it represents exactly the kind of object we love to bring into our clients' homes: one that works every day without ever tiring the eye. It is ideal for those who love to set the table with care, those looking for a discreet yet distinctive centerpiece, and those who want a serving tray that can sit equally well on a formal dining table or an entrance console.
