Alessi — Banana Babies | Place Card Holders

Banana Babies — Two Little Monkeys That Find Your Place at the Table

There’s something irresistibly playful about sitting down at a carefully set table and finding, beside your plate, a little monkey holding your name in its hands. Alessi’s Banana Babies place card holders bring a lighthearted touch to conviviality, transforming a meal into a memory. Fun without being banal, they are the detail that gracefully breaks the formality.

Why we chose them for you

Alessi was founded in 1921 on Lake Orta as an artisan workshop and has since established itself as one of the world’s most renowned applied design laboratories. Its philosophy - transforming everyday objects into small works capable of evoking emotion - finds one of its most immediate expressions in pieces like the Banana Babies: objects that make you smile, catch your eye, and stay in your memory. At Stilmobili, this pair belongs among the gifts to give (and receive) with intention.
