Alessi — Asta AM242S24 | 24-piece cutlery set in 18/10 steel

There is an almost architectural purity to the Asta line: the handle extends in a slender, decisive form, while the polished 18/10 stainless steel surface captures and reflects light with almost mirror-like precision. Holding an Asta spoon means sensing the right weight, one that conveys quality without ostentation. Each piece in the set - six tablespoons, six forks, six knives, and six coffee spoons - connects to the others with a formal coherence that transforms the table into a complete system. Asta was born from the collaboration between Alessandro Mendini and Annalisa Margarini, as part of the broader, multifaceted Alessi project that Mendini cultivated over the course of decades. An indefatigable theorist of design as a cultural language, Mendini always treated everyday objects as texts to be read and inhabited. In Asta, this vision translates into an essential geometry, far removed from decorative excess, yet never indifferent to tactile pleasure. The result is a set capable of taking its place on a contemporary table with the same ease with which it could engage with a vintage porcelain service. We chose it because it embodies exactly what we look for when we talk about high-end design: objects that do not shout their identity, but express it with restraint. Asta is ideal for those who want to create a table setting with character without giving up everyday simplicity - for a city apartment as well as a country home where every detail is carefully considered. Project notes: polished 18/10 stainless steel, mirror finish. Composition: 6 tablespoons, 6 table forks, 6 table knives, 6 coffee spoons. Net weight: 1.710 kg. Dishwasher safe.
