Alessi — Babyboop RA03 | Ron Arad stainless steel hors d'oeuvre server

Three compartments that seem to have formed through natural pressure, like air bubbles trapped in the metal: Babyboop resembles nothing one would expect from an antipasti server. The satin-finished 18/10 stainless steel surface captures light diffusely, while the polished edge enhances its profile with a subtle visual tension. Resting on the table, it occupies barely 23 centimetres in width, yet its presence is complete - sculptural, almost unabashed in its beauty. Ron Arad, the architect and designer born in Tel Aviv and trained at London's Architectural Association, has built his creative vision on the dialogue between material and movement, between industry and organic gesture. His collaboration with Alessi has produced objects that challenge the very category of "accessory": Babyboop is one of them. The name itself - playful, resonant, almost onomatopoeic - reveals Arad's attitude: taking form seriously without taking himself too seriously as an author. At Stilmobili, we chose Babyboop because it embodies a vision of the table that goes beyond decoration for its own sake. It is designed for those who want every object they choose to say something about themselves, their taste, and a way of inhabiting the world with both irony and rigor. It is the perfect gift for an important housewarming, the unexpected complement to a contemporary table setting, the piece that transforms an aperitif into a moment of style.
