The Bark centerpiece, from the English bark, is designed by Michel Boucquillon and Donia Maaoui. The Belgian authors drew inspiration from the place where they live: Casa Boucquillon is in Tuscany and is a place of experimentation, meditation and work where you can live in symbiosis with nature. The Bark fretwork recalls the knots in wood and the concave and elongated shape of the bark suggests the structure of the trunk. The result is a highly poetic but at the same time functional object: the holes are used to let air pass through to let the fruit breathe, like in the baskets of crossed branches or in those of bark that are used in the countryside for harvesting. Its modeled profile and large dimensions make it suitable for use both as a container and as a centerpiece. Package contents
