Alessi — Bark for Christmas BM06/30 GD | Gold steel Christmas decoration

There is something ancient yet surprising about this tree branch that carries the very essence of Christmas. Bark for Christmas is a decoration made from AISI 430 steel that, thanks to a subtly luminous golden finish, becomes an object capable of evoking the magic of the winter forest. The small magnetic porcelain spheres — delicate, removable, and freely repositionable — cling to the metal branches like snowflakes or wild berries, leaving those who welcome it into their home free to reinvent its composition every year. The project bears the signature of the French-Tunisian duo Boucquillon & Maaoui, a creative partnership that has made the dialogue between craftsmanship and industrial production its aesthetic manifesto. In Bark for Christmas, the two designers translate the organic form of wood into a highly refined metal language, restoring to Christmas decoration a formal dignity that places it well beyond the boundaries of a seasonal accessory. The piece belongs to the Alessi Palinsesto fall/winter collection, designed to accompany interiors during seasons of contemplation and artificial light. We chose it for Stilmobili because it represents exactly what we are looking for: an object that never stops being design, even when it becomes a ritual. It is intended for those who want every detail of their home to speak a coherent language, even at Christmas — and especially at Christmas. Ideal as a tasteful gift for architects, Alessi collectors, and anyone who has learned to distinguish beauty from ornament.
