Alessi — Bark for Christmas BM06 W | Steel Christmas decoration

There is something quiet and precious about the white of *Bark for Christmas*: the epoxy resin-painted steel surface captures the light like fresh snow on a branch, while the porcelain magnets add an unexpected tactile detail, almost like a promise of fragility kept. In its organic forms — 45 centimeters tall, evoking the essential silhouette of a stylized fir tree — lies a joyful tension between industrial rigor and domestic warmth, between metallic coldness and the gentle ritual of Christmas. The design was created by Boucquillon & Maaoui, a creative duo who have been engaging with Alessi for years around the boundary between functional object and inhabitable sculpture. In *Bark for Christmas*, the two designers choose restraint: no superfluous ornamentation, no concession to seasonal kitsch. Bark — *bark*, in fact — becomes a metaphor for protection and nature, a botanical reference translated into the language of high-quality Italian craftsmanship. At Stilmobili, we chose this piece because it perfectly represents what we believe in: even seasonal decoration deserves the same design care as a piece of furniture intended to last for decades. *Bark for Christmas* is ideal for those who want to enjoy the holidays without compromising their personal taste, for those who furnish with intention and seek a centerpiece or shelf installation capable of engaging with contemporary interiors and design collections. Project notes: steel painted with white epoxy resin, porcelain magnets. Dimensions: 35.5 × 14 × 45 cm. Alessi collection, autumn/winter lineup.
