Alessi — Barket BM10/21 B | Round black painted steel basket

There is a quiet geometry in Barket that speaks first and foremost through its form: a perfect circle, 21 centimeters in diameter, in steel painted a deep, absolute black. On the dining table or desk, this round wastebasket does not hide - on the contrary, it asserts its presence with the discretion of one who knows exactly who they are. The treated metal surface offers a compact, almost tactile texture that invites you to brush against it even before using it. Barket was born from the collaboration between Simon Boucquillon and Idir Maaoui, a creative duo bringing to Alessi a formal sensibility rooted in contemporary French industrial design. The project belongs to the extensive Alessi Palinsesto family for the spring/summer season, emphasizing how even a functional object can follow the rhythm of the seasons, renew itself through color, and engage with domestic spaces as they transform. At Stilmobili, we chose Barket because it perfectly represents that borderland where utility becomes ornament. It is the wastebasket for those who refuse to sacrifice aesthetic care even in service objects: ideal for the desk of anyone who loves order with style, for the center of a designer kitchen, or as a compositional element in a refined table setting. Its black finish makes it versatile and, at the same time, definitive - a choice, not a compromise. Project notes: painted steel structure, matte black finish. Diameter 21 cm, height 10 cm. Weight 765 g. Produced by Alessi, Italy.
