Alessi — Barket BM10/21 W | Round white steel basket

There is something disarming about the perfection of a circle. Alessi's Barket knows this well: round, white, and silent, it rests on every surface with the naturalness of one who has nothing to prove. Made of steel painted in the purest of shades, it carries that rare quality of well-designed objects - the ability to disappear into its surroundings while remaining perfectly present. Here, white is not an absence of color, but a deliberate choice: clarity, lightness, and a certain idea of order that never becomes rigid. Barket was created through a collaboration between Simon Boucquillon and Ionna Maaoui, a French-Tunisian creative duo who have built a design language founded on the essential. Their approach - rooted in the tradition of French industrial design yet open to more Mediterranean sensibilities - is fully reflected in this wastepaper basket: no superfluous ornamentation, no concession to decoration for its own sake. Only form, material, and function elevated to an aesthetic gesture. Barket belongs to the Alessi permanent collection, with a seasonal spring/summer vocation that reveals its airy, domestic soul. At Stilmobili, we chose Barket because it embodies exactly what we seek in the home accessories we offer: objects capable of engaging with different environments without imposing themselves, equally suited to a minimalist kitchen or a carefully designed home office desk. It is the wastepaper basket for those who love white not as a trend, but as a philosophy. For those who intentionally choose every detail of their home. Design notes: diameter 21 cm, height 10 cm. White-painted steel. Design by Boucquillon & Maaoui for Alessi.
