Alessi — Barknest BM02 | Round 18/10 stainless steel basket

There is something hypnotic about the surface of the Barknest: the 18/10 stainless steel bends and takes on a texture that evokes the bark of a tree, that rough, living skin that nature carves over time. Round and compact, with a diameter of twenty-one centimeters and a modest height of seven, this basket does not merely contain — it gathers, safeguards, and organizes with a silent grace that transforms any work surface or tabletop into a small visual composition. The design bears the signature of the creative duo Boucquillon & Maaoui, two names that move with surgical precision through the contemporary design landscape, between formal rigor and natural references. Their collaboration with Alessi — an Italian manufacturer that has spent decades transforming design culture into everyday objects — gave rise to a piece that belongs to the great tradition of the Centerpieces family: objects that do not merely serve a function, but inhabit a space with a personality of their own. At Stilmobili, we chose the Barknest because it reflects a specific sensibility: that of those who see every surface in their home as an opportunity for aesthetic care. It is ideal for anyone looking for a centerpiece that can engage with contemporary or Nordic interiors, but also with more eclectic spaces where material detail makes all the difference. A refined gift, a purchase for yourself, an object that grows more beautiful with use. Design notes: 18/10 stainless steel, diameter 21 cm, height 7 cm, net weight 661 g.
