Alessi — Barkplace Tree BM16S2 GR | Green steel table place card holder

There is something subtly poetic about bringing the forest to the table. Barkplace Tree is a set of two place card holders with an unmistakable silhouette - a stylized tree, cut from steel and coated with epoxy resin in an intense green that evokes damp bark and winter branches. The porcelain magnet integrated into the structure holds the name card discreetly and firmly, without disturbing the piece's essential silhouette. The design bears the signature of the duo Boucquillon & Maaoui, a design studio with a declared inclination toward storytelling through objects: every form is a small story, every material a narrative choice before it is a technical one. Included in the autumn-winter lineup of the Alessi Palinsesto collection, Barkplace Tree is designed to inhabit tables during the colder seasons, when the ritual of lunch slows down and the table setting becomes a gesture of care toward guests. At Stilmobili, we chose this place card holder because it rejects the banality of function for function's sake. It is an accessory that knows how to stand alone - as a decorative object on a bookshelf out of season - and how to fit in, among crystal and porcelain, without giving in either to ornamental excess or to coldness. It is designed for those who love to entertain with intention, for those who see the table as a space for direction rather than routine. Design notes: steel coated with epoxy resin, in green, with a porcelain magnet. Dimensions per piece: 6.5 × 3 × 8 cm. Sold as a set of two. Package weight: 154 g.
