Alessi — Barkplace Tree BM16S2 R | Red steel table place card holder

There is something poetic about bringing the shape of a bare tree to the table, reduced to the essentials of a metallic gesture. Barkplace Tree is a place card holder that presents itself as a small sculpture: steel colored with vivid red epoxy resin, capable of capturing the light and engaging with the white tablecloth, the goblets, and the orderly silence of a carefully set table. The porcelain magnet - an almost discreet, almost surprising detail - holds the name card as a branch supports a suspended leaf. The design is by Boucquillon & Maaoui, a creative duo with a hybrid sensibility, straddling industrial design and visual storytelling. Their work for Alessi often revolves around objects that seem simple but reveal a dual nature: functional enough, evocative enough. Barkplace Tree belongs to this rare category - objects that remain on the table even after the meal, because no one feels like putting them away. At Stilmobili, we chose this set of two place card holders because it embodies an idea of contemporary hospitality: one in which every detail is considered, yet nothing feels ostentatious. It is the ideal accessory for those who love entertaining in style without giving in to formality, for those who arrange a table the way they design an interior - through restraint, consistency, and an appreciation for materials. Project notes: the set includes two pieces, made of steel coated with red epoxy resin and featuring porcelain card-holding magnets. Compact dimensions - 6.5 × 3 × 8 cm - and a weight of 154 g. Alessi collection, fall/winter range. Discontinued item.
