Alessi — Barkplace Tree BM16S2 W | Enamelled steel place card holder white

Two small white trees placed on the table: there is something both fairytale-like and rigorous about Alessi's Barkplace Tree. Made of steel colored with epoxy resin in the snow-white version, these place card holders contain within their essential silhouette — 8 centimeters high, the right size to be noticed without dominating — a porcelain magnet that discreetly and elegantly embraces the name card. The shape evokes the silhouette of a stylized tree, like a minimalist illustration transformed into a three-dimensional object: present, recognizable, and capable of engaging with any table setting. The design bears the signature of the creative duo Boucquillon & Maaoui, designers who move naturally between the world of industrial products and that of visual storytelling. Their formal research is evident in this small object: no superfluous detail, just the synthesis of an idea — the place card holder as a symbolic presence, not merely a functional accessory. It is an approach that aligns perfectly with Alessi's philosophy, which has always focused on transforming everyday objects into domestic micro-sculptures. At Stilmobili, we chose the Barkplace Tree because we believe that a beautifully set table is also an act of care toward guests. This set of two is intended for those who love entertaining in style, and for those looking for details capable of making a difference during an important dinner or a festive lunch. The white version fits gracefully into minimalist and Nordic settings, but is equally at home on more classic tables, where the contrast with dark tablecloths or textured centerpieces creates an effect of refined visual tension. Project notes: steel colored with epoxy resin, porcelain magnet. Dimensions: 6.5 × 3 × 8 cm. Sold as a set of two pieces.
