Alessi — Basalt MA04 MA04 2 FRA | Anastassiades diffuser refill

There is something subterranean and primordial about the Basalt fragrance: a reference to volcanic rock, breathing earth, and mineral-rich air before the rain. Alessi's MA04 refill - with its rattan sticks that slowly absorb and diffuse the fragrance throughout the room - transforms an ordinary household gesture into a small olfactory ritual. The 200 ml bottle is used up discreetly, leaving a silent, persistent presence in the air. Basalt stems from the vision of Michael Anastassiades, a London-based Cypriot designer and one of the most rigorous and poetic figures in contemporary design. Known for his ability to distill complexity into essential forms - from lighting systems for Flos to everyday objects - Anastassiades brings to the Alessi Palinsesto collection the same formal discipline that characterizes his architectural work. The Basalt fragrance reflects this aesthetic: no redundancy, no calculated sweetness, just a bold, earthy note that settles into the space with authority. At Stilmobili, we chose this diffuser for those who envision the home as a coherent sensory system, where fragrance is not an accessory but a component of the interior design. It is the natural complement to spaces characterized by raw and noble materials - concrete, stone, dark wood - or for anyone simply seeking a signature scent with which to inhabit the cold season. Project notes: refill compatible with the MA04 diffuser, rattan sticks included, capacity 20 cl, height 13 cm, diameter 6 cm. Fragrance from the Alessi Palinsesto fall/winter collection.
