Alessi — Basalt MA05L2 MA05L2 WAX | Large scented candle refill

There is something geological about the very idea of Basalt: a fragrance that evokes primordial matter, rock born of fire, and the earth in its most ancient layers. The Large refill - 1,200 grams of vegetable-based wax - is designed to last, to settle slowly into spaces as true fragrances do, the kind you do not announce but discover, almost by chance, in the air of a well-lived-in room. Basalt springs from the vision of Michael Anastassiades, the Cypriot-British designer and one of the most refined interpreters of contemporary design, known for an aesthetic that transforms simplicity into a poetic act. His collaboration with Alessi - within the Palinsesto collection, conceived to mark the changing seasons at home - brings the same essential quality that characterizes his objects into the olfactory realm: no excess, no redundancy. Pure intention alone. At Stilmobili, we chose Basalt because it reflects a precise idea of living: that of someone who tends to every sensory detail of their home with the same care devoted to its furnishings. It is the ideal refill for those who already own the collection's diffuser and wish to continue the ritual, or for those who gift a fragrance experience of design caliber - not merely a scent, but a perspective on the domestic world.
