Alessi — Basalt MA05M2 MA05M2 WAX | 600 g scented candle refill

There is something geological about the Basalt fragrance: a scent that evokes volcanic stone freshly warmed by the sun, the dry minerality of black earth, a dense and silent darkness that settles in the air like light ash. The plant-based wax refill - 600 grams of pure material - is designed to restore the candle's full olfactory presence, without compromising either the quality of the burn or the intensity of the diffusion. A gesture of care for the object, and for the space that welcomes it. Basalt was created through a collaboration between Alessi and Michael Anastassiades, a Cypriot-British designer among the most refined voices on the international design scene. Known for his ability to work through reduction - elementary forms, silent tensions, suspended balances - Anastassiades brings the same poetic quality to the home fragrance collection that runs through his celebrated light installations: an essentiality that does not sacrifice depth. The Basalt fragrance belongs to the autumn/winter palette, the season of inner reflection, fertile darkness, and sought-after warmth. At Stilmobili, we chose this refill because we believe that a signature fragrance deserves continuity. Basalt is not a simple consumable: it is the extension of a sensory experience designed with the same care as a design object. It is intended for those who live with intention, for those who choose every detail of their home as they would choose a word in a well-written sentence.
