Alessi — Bedin AST02 Y | Fluorescent yellow aluminum table lamp

There is something immediate and declarative about Bedin's fluorescent yellow: it does not hide, blend in, or seek compromise. The table lamp designed by Alessandro Stabile for Alessi is a cylinder of anodized aluminum that brings light wherever it is wanted, without wires or constraints. The form is essential to the point of being axiomatic - a pure volume just over twenty-six centimeters high, with a diameter of eight - yet that electric color transforms the object into a presence, a chromatic gesture, an interior design statement. Technology is discreetly contained within a deliberately theatrical shell: charging takes place via a USB-C cable, while the light comes from a 2W LED that provides soft, controlled illumination, perfect for a work desk, a bedside table, or a living area that calls for a touch of light. Alessandro Stabile - a designer with rigorous training and a contemporary sensibility - gives Alessi a piece that joins the Palinsesto collection with the natural ease of someone who knows the precise boundary between function and icon. At Stilmobili, we chose Bedin because it perfectly expresses our way of understanding design: not neutral ornament, but an object with a point of view. It is ideal for those who live in contemporary spaces and are not afraid to use color as a compositional tool, for those looking for a portable lamp that is also a tabletop sculpture, and for those who want a design gift with a strong, recognizable identity. Project notes: fluorescent yellow anodized aluminum, rechargeable USB-C battery, 2W 5V LED — height 26.1 cm, diameter 8 cm, weight 1 kg.
