Alessi — Bell ESA06 3 | Blown glass Christmas bell

There is something ancient and at the same time suspended in the act of hanging a bell on the Christmas tree. Elena Salmistraro's Bell for Alessi belongs to that category of objects that take your breath away: hand-blown in glass and carefully hand-decorated with artisan craftsmanship, it is a form that knows its own perfection. The glass captures the tree's light and returns it transformed and multiplied, as if every reflection were a silent sound suspended in the festive air. Elena Salmistraro is one of the most original voices in contemporary Italian design: a Milanese architect and designer, her work moves effortlessly between illustration, ceramics, sculpture, and industrial design, always guided by an imagery rich in symbols, fantastical creatures, and bold color combinations. For the Alessi Christmas collection - Alessi Palinsesto fall/winter - Salmistraro brings her narrative sensibility to the most traditional ornament, the bell, transforming it into a small autonomous world to discover up close. At Stilmobili, we chose the Bell because it embodies exactly what we look for in seasonal decorations: not just a simple accessory, but a detail that changes the quality of a space. It is the ideal gift for those who experience Christmas as an aesthetic ritual, who decorate the tree with the same care they devote to choosing a work of art, and who want every ornament to tell a story.
