Alessi — Big Love AMMI01S I | Steel and resin ice cream cup, Miriam Mi

There is something disarming about the simplicity of a teaspoon sinking into ice cream. Big Love knows this and celebrates it: a bowl with a soft, generous profile, made of 18/10 stainless steel and thermoplastic resin, capable of holding 25 cl of pure pleasure. The glossy surface reflects the light with that elegant discretion only carefully crafted materials can achieve, while the shape - broad, welcoming, almost embracing - transforms dessert time into a small daily ritual. The accompanying spoon, also made of polished stainless steel, completes the set with formal consistency and a lightness you can already feel in the hand. Big Love was created by Miriam Mirri, an Italian designer with an ironic and affectionate imagination, capable of infusing everyday objects with a rare narrative character. The piece is part of the *A di Alessi* collection, one of the most ambitious editorial projects of the Crusinallo factory: an alphabet of objects designed by the leading names in contemporary design, created to explore the subtle boundary between function and domestic poetics. Mirri chooses to begin with love - the big kind, the kind declared in the name itself - and translates it into an object that is not afraid to be tender. At Stilmobili, we chose Big Love because it embodies exactly the quality we seek in the things we bring into our customers' homes: the ability to make the ordinary special. It is the ideal gift for someone who already has everything but has not yet found the right way to enjoy ice cream. Perfect for a carefully styled table, yet sincere enough to look at home even on a well-used kitchen counter.
