Alessi — Birillo PL05 W | White PMMA soap dispenser

There is a geometry of simplicity that does not belong to minimalism through subtraction, but to minimalism through intention. Birillo is this geometry: a white PMMA liquid soap dispenser that transforms the everyday act of personal care into a small formal ritual. Its soft, cylindrical silhouette - already evoked by its name, with its playful, familiar roundness - rests on the edge of the sink with the discretion of an object that knows exactly where it belongs. The matte white polymethyl methacrylate diffuses light without capturing it, conveying a clean, almost sculptural presence. The design bears the signature of Piero Lissoni, a Milanese architect and designer among the most consistent interpreters of Italian compositional rigor. Lissoni has built his poetics around the idea that design works best when it stops trying to prove that it is design: no superfluous gesture, no decorative justification. Birillo is exactly this - an object that engages with the architecture of the bathroom without competing with it, capable of integrating equally well into a contemporary interior or a more classical, rarefied space. We chose it for Stilmobili because it embodies that vision of the elevated everyday at the heart of our selection: objects that are not content simply to be useful, but aspire to be necessary in an aesthetic sense. Birillo is ideal for those who furnish with care, even when it comes to seemingly minor details, knowing that it is precisely there - in the quiet coherence between every element - that a truly refined interior is recognized. Project notes: capacity 30 cl, dimensions 11.5 × 9.5 × 13.5 cm. Body in white PMMA. Part of the Alessi collection for bathroom accessories, available in the spring/summer seasons.
