Alessi — Birillo PL06 W | White PMMA dispenser by Lissoni

There is an almost sculptural purity to Piero Lissoni's Birillo: a vertical cylinder in milky white PMMA that rises from the bathroom surface with the quiet firmness of an object that knows exactly what it wants to be. Designed to hold cotton pads and cotton balls, it transforms a daily, discreet gesture - self-care - into a small, orderly, almost meditative ritual. The translucent surface allows a glimpse of the contents without fully revealing them, playing with light in a subtle and refined way. Piero Lissoni, one of the most rigorous and internationally acclaimed Italian designers, brings his unmistakable stylistic signature to this accessory: reduction, geometric precision, and a rejection of ornament. Birillo is part of Lissoni's collaboration with Alessi within the Alessi Palinsesto program, the platform through which the House of Crusinallo brings objects capable of redefining the grammar of domestic spaces into its seasonal collections, even in their most intimate corners. At Stilmobili, we chose it because it answers a question that is rarely asked but that we often hear: how can authentic design be brought into the bathroom without falling into decoration for its own sake? Birillo is for those who live consistently, for those who see every surface as a choice and every object as an extension of their personal taste. It fits naturally into both a minimalist white marble bathroom and more eclectic settings, where it becomes a note of refined rigor. Design notes: white PMMA material, dimensions 7 × 7 × 24 cm, weight 300 g. A vertical, slender object that takes up very little space while giving a great deal in return.
