Alessi — Birillo PL10 W | White PMMA bathroom bin

There is something unusually light about the way Birillo occupies the bathroom space. The cylindrical form in white PMMA - a noble plastic material, translucent enough to seem almost weightless - has a quiet, almost sculptural presence. It does not shout or decorate redundantly: it is simply there, and that alone is enough to transform a functional corner into a thoughtful detail. Absolute white is not an absence of choice, but the most deliberate choice: that of someone who knows that elegance often resides in subtraction. Birillo was created by Piero Lissoni, one of the most consistent Italian designers in his aesthetic vision. An internationally renowned Milanese architect and designer, Lissoni has built his poetics around a formal rigor that never becomes cold. His contribution to the Alessi collection brings that same compositional discipline into the home that characterizes his interiors and architecture: clean volumes, calibrated proportions, no superfluous gestures. Birillo - the name evokes balance, roundness, and a certain geometric playfulness - perfectly embodies this philosophy. At Stilmobili, we chose it because we believe that even a bathroom wastebasket deserves thoughtful design. It is an object used every day, seen every day, and in a well-designed bathroom should integrate with the same care as a designer faucet or sanitary fixture. Birillo is ideal for those who furnish with consistency, who love white as a language rather than a backdrop, and who recognize the measure of taste in the details. Design notes: compact, well-proportioned dimensions - 18.5 × 18.5 × 21 cm - make it suitable for both the main bathroom and the guest bathroom. Made of PMMA, it is lightweight, durable, and easy to clean.
