Alessi — Birillo PL17 W | White PMMA bathroom container

There is a geometry to daily care that reveals itself in the simplest gestures: opening a lid, searching by hand for what is needed, closing it again. Birillo inhabits this ritual with a discreet and precise presence. The white PMMA body - a material with a smooth, almost milky surface - captures the bathroom light and returns it with a soft luminosity, free from harsh reflections. The compact form, perfectly cubic at eighteen centimeters per side, conceals an internal compartmentalized division that organizes without ostentation, hiding everything beneath a lid that glides away naturally. The design bears the signature of Piero Lissoni, one of the most rigorous interpreters of contemporary Italian design. A Milanese architect and designer, Lissoni has built his poetics around subtraction: eliminating the superfluous until the object reveals its structural essence. Birillo is faithful to this vision - no decoration, no rhetorical gesture, only the internal logic of function becoming form. At Stilmobili, we chose Birillo because it represents exactly what we believe in: that the bathroom is not a residual space, but a designed space on a par with any other room in the home. It is intended for those who furnish spaces with aesthetic consistency, for those who accept no compromises, even where no one looks. It pairs naturally with white marble surfaces, minimalist faucets, and frameless mirrors. Project notes: Compartmentalized container with lid. Material: white PMMA. Dimensions: 18 × 18 × 12 cm.
