Alessi — Birillo PL18 W | Lissoni toilet roll holder in white PMMA

There is something disarming about Birillo's formal purity: a cylindrical volume that rises discreetly from the bathroom floor, wrapped in milky white PMMA that captures and diffuses light with the same grace as a minimalist sculpture. The toilet paper roll holder - a category rarely suited to aesthetic contemplation - becomes here an object worthy of attention, almost a small domestic totem. Its carefully calibrated proportions, 15×15×31 cm, create a vertical and composed presence, never intrusive. Piero Lissoni is one of those Italian designers able to move with equal authority among architecture, interior design, and industrial design. His perspective is that of someone who understands the subtle difference between simplicity and banality, and knows that true elegance lies in the tension between form and function brought to its perfect point of balance. Birillo stems from this sensitivity: an object that does not seek to astonish, but to last - in space and over time. At Stilmobili, we chose Birillo because it represents exactly what we look for when designing a space: the ability to make even an apparently marginal detail feel coherent. It is ideal for those who have designed their bathroom with the same care given to the living room and do not intend to interrupt the dialogue between surfaces with a discordant note. It pairs naturally with white and monochrome spaces, but also holds its own with character alongside more expressive materials - marble, concrete, bleached wood. Project notes: opaque white PMMA, capacity for spare rolls, stable base with a compact footprint. Alessi collection, designed by Piero Lissoni. Net weight 0.815 kg.
