Alessi — BONES ABGMP-2221 | Iacchetti stainless steel lid

There is something essential and, at the same time, unexpected about the BONES lid: a shape that belongs to the memory of the kitchen, reinterpreted with the quiet precision of stainless steel. The forged knob - an apparently secondary element - becomes here the visual and tactile center of the object, the point where the hand meets the metal and recognizes a quality that goes beyond function. A diameter of twenty centimeters that closes, protects, and contains: everything a good pot deserves. Giulio Iacchetti is one of the Italian designers most attentive to the hidden meaning of everyday objects. Winner of the Compasso d'Oro, Iacchetti often explores the gap between expected form and discovered form - that slight surprise that transforms a utensil into something to look at. BONES stems from this sensibility: a piece designed for everyday cooking that carries the formal coherence of a mature project, developed with Alessi as part of its research into cooking accessories. At Stilmobili, we chose BONES because it represents exactly the kind of object we believe in: functional without being anonymous, discreet without being banal. It is the right piece for those who furnish a kitchen with the same care they would devote to decorating a living room - for those who know that even a lid can say something about the taste of the person who chose it. It belongs to the fall/winter season of the Alessi collection and is classified as a discontinued item, which also makes it a piece not to be missed. Project details: stainless steel with forged knob, diameter 20 cm, height 4.5 cm. Weight 456 g. Designed by Giulio Iacchetti for Alessi.
