Alessi — Bzzz MW67 | Wanders chrome-plated zamak candle snuffer

There is something hypnotic about the act of extinguishing a candle: that suspended moment between light and darkness, between warmth and silence. Marcel Wanders' Bzzz transforms this small domestic ritual into an experience of pure form. Made of chrome-plated zamak with a glossy finish that captures and reflects the surrounding light, this candle snuffer extends into space with the subtle grace of an insect in flight - already evoked by its name, onomatopoeic and playful. Marcel Wanders, one of the most recognizable Dutch designers on the international scene, brings his unmistakable signature to this object: the ability to imbue even the most discreet utensils with meaning and poetry. Born from a collaboration with Alessi as part of the AlessiPalinsesto collection - conceived to accompany the seasonal rhythms of the home - Bzzz belongs to the spring/summer cycle, the season of candles lit on terraces at sunset, al fresco dinners, and soft lighting that extends the day. At Stilmobili, we chose Bzzz because it embodies exactly what we look for: objects that do not merely serve a function, but tell a vision of the world. It is the ideal accessory for those who furnish their home with care and awareness, and for those who consider every detail - even the most understated - part of a cohesive aesthetic. It pairs elegantly with metal candlesticks, minimalist arrangements on the dining table, or on a bookcase. Project notes: dimensions 14.5 × 3.5 × 3.5 cm; chrome-plated zamak; weight 145 g. A small, precious object, made to last far beyond the candle it extinguishes.
