Alessi — Caccia 90022/12 A | 925‰ silver serving fork

There is a subtle, almost imperceptible threshold that separates a utensil from an object of memory. The Caccia serving fork crosses it naturally, bringing to the table the distinctive weight of 925‰ silver and a silhouette that seems born not from a design but from an ancient, instinctive gesture. Measuring 25.8 centimetres, calibrated to accompany the service with discretion and presence at the same time, it belongs to that category of pieces that go unnoticed until they are missing. The Caccia service was created in 1938 through a collaboration between Luigi Caccia Dominioni and brothers Livio and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni - three names that would become fundamental to the story of twentieth-century Italian design. Originally designed for Fratelli Krupp Italiana and later welcomed into the Alessi catalogue, this cutlery service represents one of the first examples in which Italian industrial design looks at silversmithing with new eyes: rationalist in structure, soft in its proportions, and free of superfluous ornamentation. It becomes part of Officina Alessi, the research and production workshop dedicated to pieces of exceptional quality and design significance. We chose it for Stilmobili because it is one of those very rare objects in which history does not weigh - it illuminates. It is ideal for those who set a table with the same care with which they choose a work of art, for those who recognize in a silver detail an act of culture before one of style. Available to order, it is a purchase that requires intention: and precisely for this reason, once it arrives, it never disappoints. Design notes: Officina Alessi production. Handcrafted 925‰ silver.
