Alessi — Caccia 90022/2 A | Table fork in 925‰ silver

There is something absolute about the Caccia fork: a purity of line that allows no redundancy, a silent yet unmistakable presence on the white tablecloth. Made of 925‰ silver to order, it belongs to that category of objects that do not merely perform a function but interpret and elevate it. Its weight in the hand is just right - neither excessive nor insubstantial - and the tines are arranged in space with the precision of one who knows exactly where to place them. The design was born from one of the most extraordinary collaborations in the history of Italian design: Luigi Caccia Dominioni, Livio and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni jointly designed this piece of cutlery in the early 1940s, at a time when Italy was seeking its own voice in the story of everyday objects. Three of the twentieth century's sharpest minds - who would later follow glorious and independent paths - converge here in a formal synthesis of rare coherence. The Caccia collection, which eventually came under the Officina Alessi umbrella, represents one of the foundational episodes in the relationship between manufacturing and design culture that made Alessi a unique case worldwide. At Stilmobili, we chose this piece because we believe the table is where design becomes ritual. The Caccia fork is for those who set a dinner table knowing that every detail tells a story: an architect, a collector, someone who inherits beauty as a habit rather than an occasion. It is an investment in the noblest sense of the term - an object destined to last for generations. Design notes: length 19.80 cm, 925‰ sterling silver, made to order. Part of the Officina Alessi collection, currently classified as end-of-line - limited availability.
