There is something quietly perfect about the Caccia teaspoon: the curve of the handle that naturally descends toward the hand, the proportion of the bowl that gathers without excess, the weight of 925‰ silver that lends the everyday gesture of tea an almost ritual dignity. Made to order, it belongs to that category of objects purchased not out of necessity but out of conviction - the conviction that the table deserves the same care reserved for a tailored suit or a hand-bound book. The Caccia service was created in 1938 through a collaboration between Luigi Caccia Dominioni and brothers Livio and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni - three names that would leave an indelible mark on the history of twentieth-century Italian design. Designed for Carlo Alessi and produced by Fratelli Alessi since the 1940s, the service represents one of the earliest and most significant encounters between the Crusinallo manufacturer and Milanese design culture. Its aesthetic is one of rationalism tempered by elegance: nothing superfluous, yet nothing cold. At Stilmobili, we chose Caccia because it tells a story worth keeping on the table. It is the right piece for those who collect design as they collect the classics of literature - not to display them, but to use them, recognizing their value with every use. Ideal as a refined wedding gift or as an addition to a silver cutlery service already under way. Design notes: 925‰ silver, length 13.4 cm, weight 63 g, Officina Alessi collection. End-of-series piece, available to order.
