Alessi — Caccia LCD01/1 | 18/10 stainless steel fish fork

There is something immediately recognizable about the Caccia fork: a slender yet authoritative presence, where every curve seems to find its reason for being in the gesture it accompanies. Made of 18/10 stainless steel, polished like the surface of still water, this fish fork measures seventeen centimeters of pure formal coherence. The handle tapers toward the grip with a progression reminiscent of classical design reinterpreted, while the tines open with the discretion necessary to handle the most delicate flesh. The Caccia collection was created in 1938 - an era when Italian design was seeking its own voice between rationalism and artisanal tradition - through the collaboration of three masters: Luigi Caccia Dominioni and brothers Livio and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni. An extraordinary trio, destined to leave a profound mark on twentieth-century Italian design. When Alessi reintroduces this service into its collection, it performs an act of cultural as well as productive preservation: it returns to lovers of everyday beauty an object that belongs to the history of European design. At Stilmobili, we chose Caccia because it embodies a principle close to our hearts: great design does not age; it builds in layers. It is the ideal cutlery for those who set the table with intention, who see the table as an act of care toward their guests and themselves. It naturally pairs with designer glassware, a raw linen tablecloth, and a dinner that becomes conversation. Project notes: fish fork, 18/10 stainless steel, length 17 cm. Part of the complete Caccia service, available in the main references. Alessi collection, original 1938 design.
