Alessi — Caccia LCD01/2R4 | 18/10 stainless steel table fork

There is a fork that does not ask to be noticed, and yet always is. The Caccia - four tines, nineteen centimeters of 18/10 stainless steel - feels natural in the hand, like an ancient gesture. The handle glides between the fingers without resistance, its weight is just right, and its surface reflects the light on the table with the discretion that distinguishes truly successful objects from those that are merely beautiful. It is not a piece that announces itself: it is a piece that works, and therein lies its elegance. The Caccia service was created in 1938 through a collaboration that belongs to the history of Italian design: Luigi Caccia Dominioni and brothers Livio and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni - three names who, shortly afterward, would redefine the aesthetics of the second half of the twentieth century - created a cutlery set destined to become an absolute classic. Reissued by Alessi as part of the Palinsesto project, which recovers and reinterprets masterpieces from Italy's design heritage, Caccia returns to contemporary tables without a single adjustment needed. It had already found its right form eighty years ago. At Stilmobili, we chose Caccia because it represents exactly what we look for when selecting a product: the perfect coincidence between design intent and the pleasure of everyday use. It is the cutlery for those who set the table with care, for those who know that a well-set table is already a form of hospitality. Ideal for completing a designer kitchen or building a collection capable of lasting for decades. Design notes: Table fork, 4 tines. 18/10 stainless steel. Length 19 cm.
