Alessi — Caccia LCD01/5 | 18/10 stainless steel fruit fork

There is an almost architectural purity to the Caccia fruit fork: the slender blade, the handle with its measured profile, the 18/10 stainless steel surface that discreetly catches the light. Holding it is a gesture that immediately reveals the difference between a functional object and one that has been thoughtfully designed - balanced, quiet, essential. Seventeen centimeters of metal that does not seek to impress, yet manages to do so anyway. The Caccia collection originated in the 1930s, created by three names who shaped the history of Italian design: Luigi Caccia Dominioni and brothers Livio and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni. A youthful project - the three were just over twenty - that anticipated with extraordinary clarity the formal rationalism that would define postwar European taste. Alessi has reissued and preserved this service over time, recognizing in it not a relic, but an archetype that remains perfectly contemporary. At Stilmobili, we chose Caccia because it represents exactly what we seek when we talk about enduring design: no concessions to fashion, no redundant details, just the most appropriate form for a precise purpose. It is the ideal service for those who love setting the table with intention, for those who consider the table an extension of their aesthetic sensibility. It pairs naturally with both a formal mise en place and a Sunday lunch where every detail is chosen with care. Project notes: 18/10 stainless steel. Length 17 cm. Weight 40 g. Produced by Alessi, Italy. Permanent collection, spring/summer program.
