Alessi — CACTUS! MSA04/21 MSA04/21 W | Super White perforated fruit bowl

There is something irresistibly playful about CACTUS!'s silhouette, yet its geometry is anything but casual. The fruit bowl takes the form of a perforated disk made of steel coated with epoxy resin in a bright, almost dazzling white - that uncompromising Super White. The perforation is not decoration: it is structure, breathability, lightness. Twenty-one centimeters in diameter that seem to weigh less than they do, as if the metal had learned to float. It bears the signature of Marta Sansoni, a designer whom Alessi recognized at the moment when her formal language was finding its distinctive voice. With CACTUS!, Sansoni works through subtraction: removing material to create presence, lightening without stripping away meaning. The result belongs to the Alessi collection for the fall-winter season, designed to bring to the table not only objects, but also small visual narratives capable of standing the test of time and trends. We chose CACTUS! because it is one of those objects that does more than simply hold things - it tells a story. Placed at the center of a table, on a sideboard, or on a kitchen counter, this fruit bowl complements any setting: a contemporary kitchen, a minimalist living room, but also a more eclectic space where absolute white serves as an anchor. It is the perfect gift for those who love sophisticated design but do not take themselves too seriously. For those seeking functional beauty, without frills. Design notes: steel with an epoxy resin finish, in Super White. Diameter 21 cm, height 9.5 cm. Weight 518 g. Ideal as a fruit bowl, centerpiece, or distinguished catchall.
