Alessi — CACTUS! MSA04/21GR | Green perforated steel fruit bowl

There is something immediately cheerful about Alessi's CACTUS!: a fruit bowl with a perforated profile that evokes the spines and soft volumes of a cactus, covered in steel with a bright green epoxy resin finish. Placed on the dining table or sideboard, it does not need to be filled to have a purpose - it holds the gaze even when empty, like a sculptural object that knows how to stand on its own. The color is chosen intentionally: a saturated, botanical green, almost plant-like, capable of pairing equally well with natural wood surfaces and cooler, more contemporary marble tops. The design was created by Marta Sansoni for the Alessi Study Center (CSAC), the in-house laboratory that for decades has collected and experimented with visual languages at the boundary between signature design and formal research. The fruit bowl belongs to Alessi's main collection, with a spring/summer seasonal vocation that reveals its character: designed for the months when the table comes alive with fresh fruit, vivid colors, and a desire for lightness. We at Stilmobili selected it because it perfectly embodies that fertile space between irony and craftsmanship in which Alessi moves like no one else. It is the ideal gift for those who love receiving objects that surprise - and for whom furnishing a home also means allowing themselves a smile. It suits contemporary interiors as well as kitchens with a more eclectic and expressive character. Project notes: diameter 21 cm, height 9.5 cm. Stainless steel with a green epoxy resin finish.
