Alessi — CACTUS! MSA04/29 W | Super White perforated fruit bowl

There is something irresistible about the meeting between the rigorous geometry of steel and the botanical imagination of a cactus. CACTUS! is a fruit bowl that plays with desert forms and brings them to the table with disarming lightness: the perforated surface, treated with epoxy resin in a bright, uniform Super White, transforms every fruit placed inside it into an element of a contemporary still life. Its generous 29 cm diameter invites it to be filled, emptied, and admired even when it is empty. The design bears the signature of Marta Sansoni, an Italian designer who has succeeded in translating into an everyday object the affectionate irony that has always distinguished Alessi's formal research. CACTUS! belongs to the Palinsesto fall/winter collection, a series of designs in which color and pattern engage in dialogue with the manufacturing tradition of Crusinallo, giving rise to pieces that oscillate between decoration and function, between the playful and the designed. At Stilmobili, we chose CACTUS! because it perfectly embodies that boundary we are passionate about: it is not just a useful object, but an aesthetic statement. It is the perfect gift for those who love design with a touch of humor, for those who arrange the kitchen or dining room with the same care as a curated display. It is intended for those who do not consider a centerpiece a secondary accessory, but the focal point around which to build an atmosphere. Project notes: perforated stainless steel, Super White epoxy resin finish. Diameter 29 cm, height 10.8 cm. Net weight 902 g. Designer Marta Sansoni for Alessi.
