Alessi — Cactus! MSA08 | Polished stainless steel napkin holder

There is something disarming in the simplicity of Cactus!: a perforated silhouette evoking the unmistakable profile of the columnar cactus, cut from 18/10 stainless steel with the precision of a metal origami. The polished surface captures the light on the table and reflects it back multiplied, transforming an everyday object - the paper napkin holder - into a small sculpture to be enjoyed visually. Its compact dimensions, just twelve centimeters wide by eight and a half centimeters high, make it discreet yet unmistakable. Cactus! was designed by Marta Sansoni for the Alessi Style Center, the creative unit within the Crusinallo factory that has been engaging with industrial design for decades, with an attentive eye to popular culture and the irony of everyday life. The plant-like form - angular, geometric, almost abstract - is an affectionate reference to the natural world filtered through the rigor of industrial design: the result is an object that smiles without ever sacrificing the manufacturing quality that distinguishes every piece in the Alessi family. At Stilmobili, we chose Cactus! because it perfectly embodies that philosophy of "objects that tell stories", so dear to the finest tradition of Italian design. It is the right purchase for those who want to bring a touch of personality to the table without overdoing it, for those looking for an original and tasteful gift, or simply for those who believe that even the most functional details deserve a form worthy of attention. Project notes: polished 18/10 stainless steel, perforated workmanship. Dimensions: 12 × 3 × 8.5 cm. Weight: 176 g. Part of the Alessi permanent collection, fall/winter lineup.
