Alessi — Calumet AL1001 | Orange polyurethane wristwatch

There is something almost tactile about the way the Calumet sits on the wrist: the softness of the orange polyurethane, the lightness that makes you almost forget you are wearing it, the roundness of a perfect 3.6-centimeter circle that captures time without emphasis. It is not a watch that measures the hours - it is a watch that inhabits them, colors them, and transforms the everyday gesture of looking at your wrist into a small chromatic pleasure. Designed by Stefano Pirovano as part of the Alessi Palinsesto spring/summer collection, the Calumet belongs to that fertile period when Alessi explored the porous boundary between fashion accessory and design object, between jewelry and everyday utensil. Pirovano - a Milanese designer with refined industrial sensibility - works here through synthesis: no superfluous element, just the archetypal form of the wristwatch translated into a pop, warm, immediate language. The orange chosen is not just any orange: it is saturated and confident, able to complement both a minimalist wardrobe and a more exuberant aesthetic. At Stilmobili, we chose the Calumet because it represents exactly what we love about Alessi: the ability to create serious design with a smile. It is the ideal object for those who do not separate their aesthetic taste from their clothing, for those who consider the wrist an expressive surface and not merely a functional support. A gift designed for someone who already has everything - except this. Project notes - Material: polyurethane. Color: orange. Diameter: 3.60 cm. Thickness: 1.50 cm. Case width: 2.50 cm.
