Cillina is a luminous creature born from the meeting of artisanal imagination and light engineering. Its soft, organic form is wrapped in decorated stretch fabric that gently filters and diffuses the light, transforming each switch-on into an almost affectionate gesture. The steel structure discreetly supports the whole, allowing the textile skin to capture the eye - and the 1-Watt, 12-Volt LED does the rest, with remarkably low consumption and a warm, intimate, homely atmosphere. The design bears the signature of Pier Paolo Pitacco, a designer who moves naturally between the world of functional objects and that of visual storytelling. Cillina was created as part of the Alessi Palinsesto collection - the seasonal program through which the Fabbrica di Crusinallo explores more playful and experimental languages, far removed from classic production. It is no coincidence that the piece belongs to the spring/summer schedule, a season when design becomes lighter, more curious, and more willing to smile.
